As reported by G for Games, based on research conducted by Strategy Analytics, in the third quarter of this year, Samsung has managed to sell as much as 83.8 million units of smartphones. That number turned out to be almost doubled in more than quarter of iPhone sales figures are the same, i.e. as many as 48.4 million units.
Moreover explained that in the period July – September 2015, Samsung's market share globally is 24%, while the market share of Apple only 13.6%. Samsung's sales figures in the third quarter of this year had in fact increased by 6% when compared with sales in the second quarter.
